Wildfire Blackgum

Wildfire Blackgum is a striking deciduous tree celebrated for its vibrant foliage and strong ornamental presence. In spring, new leaves emerge a brilliant, fiery red—giving the tree its name—before maturing to a deep, glossy green through summer. As autumn approaches, the foliage transforms again, glowing with shades of scarlet, orange, and burgundy, making it one of the most colorful native trees for fall interest. Typically growing 30 to 50 feet tall with a pyramidal to oval shape, Wildfire Blackgum offers excellent shade and year-round structure.
