Oak Leaf Holly is a vigorous, pyramidal broadleaf evergreen holly with a distinctive growth habit and large, deeply lobed leaves that somewhat resemble oak leaves — giving this holly a bolder, more dramatic texture than most other hollies. Growing 15 to 20 feet tall in a naturally pyramidal form, it serves as an excellent specimen tree, privacy screen, or tall hedge with significant visual presence and four-season interest. The large, dark red berries develop in clusters in fall and persist into winter, providing outstanding seasonal color and wildlife value. Oak Leaf Holly thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Its bold foliage texture, tree-like stature, and exceptional berry production make it one of the most distinctive and impressive hollies available.
