Acer rubrum 'Armstrong', commonly known as the Armstrong Red Maple, is a cultivar of the native Red Maple tree. It is known for its upright, columnar shape, making it an ideal choice for urban landscapes or smaller spaces where width is limited. This tree has vibrant red foliage in the fall, offering a stunning display of color. It grows to a height of about 40 to 50 feet (12 to 15 meters) with a narrow spread of 15 to 20 feet (4.5 to 6 meters). The leaves are typically green in spring and summer, turning bright red in autumn.
