Fort Hill Phlox is a robust, floriferous creeping phlox that produces an exceptionally dense mass of bright rose-pink to cerise-pink flowers in early to mid-spring, creating one of the most vivid and eye-catching spring ground cover displays possible. The rich, saturated pink flower color is particularly intense and cheerful, standing out brilliantly in the spring landscape. Growing 4 to 6 inches tall and spreading to 18 to 24 inches wide, Fort Hill forms a tight mat of fine, needle-like evergreen foliage that remains attractive and weed-suppressing throughout the year. This selection is known for its particularly vigorous, spreading habit and heavy flowering. Fort Hill Phlox thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and is very drought-tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for sunny slopes and rock gardens.
