'Classic Coral' Dianthus is a beautiful, reblooming perennial dianthus prized for its cheerful, bright coral-pink double flowers with a spicy, clove-like fragrance that is released throughout the day. Growing 10 to 14 inches tall with a tidy, mounding habit and attractive blue-green foliage, Classic Coral provides an excellent long bloom season from late spring through summer and often again in fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting and bring beautiful color and fragrance to the garden or floral arrangements. Classic Coral thrives in full sun and very well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil — conditions that help prevent crown rot. Its cheerful coral color, appealing fragrance, and reblooming nature make it an outstanding choice for rock gardens, borders, and edging.
